Calls Now Go to Voicemail When No Forwarding Is Set

Inbound calls to phone numbers without an assigned user or forwarding number are now sent to voicemail instead of being rejected. This helps prevent missed calls from ending abruptly.

Calls Now Go to Voicemail When No Forwarding Is Set

Inbound calls to phone numbers without an assigned user or forwarding number are now sent to voicemail instead of being rejected.

This improves call handling for numbers that do not currently have a user assigned or a forwarding destination configured. Instead of the call failing immediately, callers can now leave a voicemail.

What changed

If a phone number has:

  • no assigned user
  • no forwarding number set up

then inbound calls will go to voicemail.

Previously, those calls were rejected.

Why it matters

This change gives callers a better fallback when call routing is incomplete and helps your team capture voicemails instead of losing inbound calls.
