What’s New: Order Fulfilled Trigger
SMBcrm has launched a new Order Fulfilled trigger within the Ecommerce Stores workflow category. This automation fires when an order’s status changes to Fulfilled, enabling teams to trigger post-fulfillment actions automatically across various platforms.
The trigger works for orders marked as fulfilled internally or through external shipping integrations like Shopify, Shippo, and ShipStation.
Common Applications
Use this trigger to automate:
- Sending shipment confirmation messages to customers
- Creating internal operational tasks
- Initiating post-purchase nurture sequences
- Updating connected systems via integrations
Available Filters
Refine your automation using these filtering options:

|---|---|
| Cart Value | Target orders meeting specific monetary thresholds |
| Fulfilled Products | Run workflows for particular SKUs only |
| Order Source | Choose between “Store” or “External” origins |
| Order Sub-Source | Select platforms (e.g., Shopify) when external sourcing applies |
| Shipping Carrier | Route based on carrier selection |
| Tracking Number | Filter by tracking identifier patterns |
Migration Notes
If you’re currently using the Shopify-specific fulfillment trigger:
- The existing trigger will be renamed to Shopify Order Fulfilled (Deprecating Soon)
- It will continue to work during the transition period
- The new unified trigger will eventually replace it
- The new trigger accommodates both internal and external order sources
